I don't use konqueror, but you might want to report this "bug" as a wishlist
to the KDE development team (http://bugs.kde.org), if this is really a
short-coming.
Otherwise, you might want to try Mozilla 1.0 or Netscape 7.0. I know for sure
it can do that kind of tabbing. By the way, there are
