I can't get pam_mkhomedir.so to make home directories. It appears
simple to setup, I've followed the directions I've found online and I
can't get it to create the directory.

I've added this entry to /etc/pam.d/login"
session   required    /lib/security/pam_mkhomedir.so skel=/etc/skel
umask=0222

I've tried it without the parameters and also making it optional. but
anytime a user logs in authenticated against ldap, it doesn't create his
home directory.

There are no errors in /var/log/messages or secure from pam, I'm
starting to wonder if this is a bug.

I also want to get pam_mkhomedir working for imap so when squirrel mail
users login for the first time it makes their home directory. but I'm
not having any luck there either.
