I've got a digiboard (dumb) with multiple serial ports.
These ports showed up as ttyS16 thru ttyS23 on RH6.1
On RH6.1 I also had the expected access to ttyS0 and ttyS1.

I just got 'round to installing RH7.1 and used the Red Hat Network to
bring it up to date (love that Red Hat Network!).

Problem:
I can access ttyS0 fine but I can't access ttyS1 or any of ttyS16-ttyS23.
Doing a 'stty -F ttyS1' returns

"ttyS1: LSR safety check engaged!
 stty: /dev/ttyS1: Input/output error"

The same holds true of the other ports. All attempts to configure the ports
with setserial don't work ... they return the same LSR message.

Doing some web searches ... the problem appears related to the serial driver
and the ISA PNP in the kernel. Some others experiencing the error eliminated
by rebuilding the kernel with the plug and play configuration of ISA devices
turned off. I did this ... but I still get the error.

Any ideas?
