Rosenkraenzer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

The solution is to ifconfig eth0:n for each additional IP on eth0
(where n = 0, 1, 2, ...) and then route add the network address and
netmask for eth0.

The RedHat-friendly thing to do is create
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:n, using ifcfg-eth0 as a
model, but updating the DEVICE field to eth0:n.  Then everything
is done for you when the interface is started with ifup.
