The logon screen where you enter your user ID and password. When I first
setup earthlink, I forgot to put the ELN/ in front of my user id.
The DNS name not being found is caused by not setting up the Client/Name in
linuxconf.
I don't have Linux running at the monent, so I cannot give you the ex

earthlink.net followed by the two DNS entries above and in the search for
name, I entered earthlink.net.

I'm trying to set up a PPP connection to my ISP, Earthlink, under Linux.
I've gotten it to connect, and I can send and receive packets, but no
names will resolve. I entered the two DNS IP's I got from EarthLink, and
still nothing worked. However, if I run dnsquery and specify the server,
I can get
