I had already opened several rxvt's this morning without any problem.
Then I tried to open one and it poped up the window, and just sat
there eating the cpu before it printed the prompt.

I tried some things and finally rebooted, but the problem persisted,
so I downloaded version 2.7.8-1 for Rawhide because I figured it was a
bug in rxvt. (I had 2.7.5-15 for Seawolf, and 'rpm --verify rxvt'
didn't show any problems.)

But the newer version has the same problem except that it exits with
the message:

rxvt: could not obtain control of tty

I've attached the output of 'strace rxvt'. While running strace, rxvt
still failed to run but wouldn't terminate with the error, so I had to
kill it. It looks to me like it is trying to close a bunch of file
descriptors that were never open, but that's just an un-educated
guess. :)

I looked through my tripwire output as well, but it doesn't show any
files modified that shouldn't be.

BTW, xterm runs just fine.

Versions:
Redhat 7.1
Kernel 2.4.13-ac8
rxvt 2.7.8-1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
