Hi all, I set up a new Red Hat 7.3 server and moved my Squid and MRTG configs across and now I am experiencing problems with MRTG and some of the Squid SNMP variables! I can't for the life of me see what I am missing.
One of my Squid MRTG graphs are failing but the other one is working. The one failing is configured like this: Target[proxy-hit]: cacheHttpHits&cacheClientHttpRequests:[EMAIL PROTECTED] MaxBytes[proxy-hit]: 1000000 Title[proxy-hit]: HTTP Hits PageTop[proxy-hit]:
proxy Cache Statistics: HTTP Hits / Requests
Suppress[proxy-hit]: y LegendI[proxy-hit]: HTTP hits LegendO[proxy-hit]: HTTP requests Legend1[proxy-hit]: HTTP hits Legend2[proxy-hit]: HTTP requests YLegend[proxy-hit]: proxy hits / min ShortLegend[proxy-hit]: req/min Options[proxy-hit]: growright, nopercent, noarrow, nobanner, perminute, dorelpercent What I am seeing in MRTG's log is: 2003-06-20 14:27:01 -- SNMP Error: Received SNMP response with error code error status: noSuchName index 2 (OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.5.2.1.2) SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "localhost" [127.0.0.1].3401) community: "public" request ID: 334858665 PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes timeout: 2s retries: 5 backoff: 1) at /usr/bin/../lib/mrtg2/SNMP_util.pm line 450 2003-06-20 14:27:01 -- SNMPGET Problem for cacheHttpHits cacheClientHttpRequests on [EMAIL PROTECTED]:3401 at /usr/bin/mrtg line 1491 2003-06-20 14:27:01 -- WARNING: Expected a number but got '' 2003-06-20 14:27:01 -- WARNING: Expected a number but got '' I've compared configs for Squid, MRTG and everything else I can think of between the 2 machines but only one works. Any ideas what I missed setting up? -- Regards, +-----------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Peter Kiem .^. | E-Mail : <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | | Zordah IT /V\ | Mobile : +61 0414 724 766 | | IT Consultancy & /( )\ | WWW : www.zordah.net | | Internet Hosting ^^-^^ | ICQ : "Zordah" 866661 | +-----------------------------+---------------------------------+ My current spamtrap address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
