Hi All,
Quake2 looks running ok at linux in my Red Hat 4.2
The only thing I have observed is that after I 
leave the program I found a lot of messages like
follows:

CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.

During the game I have the Quake2 CD-ROM 
mount at /mnt/cdrom (iso9660). It is an SCSI
CD-ROM (/dev/sdc0).

Some ideas of what is th reason for those messages.
