I can't get quotas to work on the group level, they work fine on the user level. My fstab file is as follows: /dev/hda2 / ext2 rw,grpquota, usrquota 1 1 /dev/hda1 swap swap defaults 0 0 /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy ext2 noauto 0 0 none /proc proc defaults 0 0 I have created both quota files in the root (quota.touch, quota.group). When I run "edquota -g users" it shows the quota levels I have enforced. After running "quotaon -a" and logging in as a user of the users group a "quota -v" will reveal that no quota limit is in effect. If I run "edquota - username" and enforce it at the user level it works. Any thoughts as to why it doesn't work at the group level?
