I use the Zoom Dualmode 56k internal which works well. The jumpers can be
configured to either use PNP or manually set them.

I've had a USR 56K internal, isa, for orver two years and have never had any
combatibility problems under Linux or Windows. If my computer ever froze it was
because the software crashed. (This hasn't happened under Linux.)
