Usually you will need to change more than just the IP (hostname, DNS, DHCP,
etc.) so all the following files control network-related events.
You will need to edit (as root):
/etc/hosts
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/syscnfig/network
/stc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
