Well, it was the 'memory hole' option in the BIOS that was causing the
problem. I disabled it, and all went well. Thanks to all that

Ahh...yes. That infamous "memory hole" bug. :-) Doesn't
bother Windows for some reason... *shrug*
I do not have any problem with LBA active while running Linux or Windows. I
am currently running 6.2 and I ran as far back as 6.0 and works well under
LBA mode.
