Is there a guide to Linux for Solaris Admins out there?
Here are some Solaris actions that I cannot figure out the (low

Nearly anything beats CDE :-(

Conclusion: do not use the GUI.
Edit /etc/sysconfig/network.
BTW, editing /etc/hostname.interface_id on Solaris doesn't do
the
hostname either. It sets the interface IP address (via /etc/hosts).
Agreed. It was late last night. It sets the name of the interface.
