Last week I had to test in emergency a new product
I took a new machine, and installed RH8
Several times, a little while after having launched mozilla, the machine
got frozen, and I had to power cycle it
I told to myself, well, those rumors about rh8, let's try a 7.3
Then I installed a 7.3 and the machine got frozen again
I changed my 128 MB stick with another one, and since, the everything works
fine
I did'nt try 8.0 again, but i bet it should work

there's a tool I once used, memtest, which installs as bootable (should be
rpm's). it tests memory under really heavy load. maybe it could allow
diagnosing such sticks

btw the computer I used had another system installed with dual boot (guess
which !) which did never mind this memory stick problem. maybe it could
just not use it enough ;-)

Bien sûr que je suis perfectionniste !
Mais ne pourrais-je pas l'ętre mieux ?
