Hi there,
I've been looking around the XFree86 web site trying to find recommendations
for a video card that is supported by X. The people there seem fairly
cautious about actually recommending anything. What are people here using
or know to work fairly well? I'm not doing any really fancy. Just want a
reasonably fast card that can do 1024 x 768 and 16 bit colour.
These are my choices:
CL 5465 4MB/AGP
S3 VIRGE / DX 3D 2MB
ATI XP+ PC2TV/ 4MB SGRAM
ATI 3D XP+ PC2TV/4MB SG
Matrox Mystique 220/ 4MB
Any comments would be appreciated.
