You will need at least part of the X installation since ssh
runs xauth to spoof the X DISPLAY. I have just done this
to connect onto an OpenBSD gateway which didn't have X
libraries, I wanted to ssh again from there to another
box (FreeBSD) and run the X application on that with the
display on my
I have a Redhat 7.3 laptop running KDE3 and a Redhat 7.3 server with no
X installed.
I want to connect over ssh and run an application on my local desktop.
