USB is somewhat experimental still, yes you will need to recompile. Get a fresh 2.2.14.tar.gz from ftp.kernel.org and get the usb-2.3.50_2.2.14 back port of the usb drivers. Seems to work quit well. Im running a USB mouse and USB Cpia camera here. for the usb patch do a search on google.com. For
