Hello, I have problems starting a failsafe session from xdm. I've included the following lines into my ../lib/X11/xdm/Xresources file, which is loaded before the login widget is displayed. xlogin*login.translations: #override\ <Key>F1: set-session-argument(failsafe) finish-field()\n\ Ctrl<Key>Return: set-session-argument(failsafe) finish-field()\n\ <Key>Return: set-session-argument() finish-field()\n The resources are parsed, since changes to other items result in their appropriate effect. The script which is started by xdm works fine, but is not given the "failsafe" parameter. It seems, that the translations are not parsed, or the keys not detected, since I can change the last line to <Key>Return: set-session-argument(failsafe) finish-field()\n without any consequences. I'm using a new version of X and xdm. Is this a bug, a feature or what have I forgotten?
