Yep. It works. Just don't install PHP3. Install PHP4. You're more
on your own w/PHP4, since I don't have, nor do I know of good RPMs for

I did it using RPMs . just rebuild the source luke...
I used plain apache (1.3.7 at the time I think)
openssl
ldap
php3
mysql
postgresql
I rebuilt all the above RPMs , installed and viola..

I did it using tar balls, not 3 but 4 are needed. apache, openssl, mod_ssl
and php3.
