The following appears in /var/log/maillog when I try to send an email message from my RH7.3 box (hostname novus):
Aug 18 15:44:40 novus sendmail[19385]: g7IMier19385: tcpwrappers (localhost.localdomain, 127.0.0.1) rejection Aug 18 15:44:40 novus sendmail[19385]: NOQUEUE: localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA I am using sendmail and smtp. We have a mail hub that receives mail and sends it to the appropriate host. All this under smtp. Any help or explanation would be appreciated.
