When trying to mount an NFS export from my redhat 8 workstation I receive errors saying that "only root can do that." I'm not sure if it's a permission set on my NFS server or if it's more of a general user-level permission on my workstation. There are 2 exports on the server (which happens to be running debian woody): the cdrom and a storage directory. OTOH, if this sounds more like a server issue I'll post this question elsewhere.
I tried searching through the redhat archives but kept receiving 0 results from any given search (server-side activity preventing searches at this time?); at any rate, if someone could point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated.
