You should get ahold of the makers of the drivers and tell them that RedHat doesn't do a.out anymore :) a.out (output of the assembler) is the old binary format.. it's still used on some *nix systems today but many have changed to ELF including Linux and FreeBSD among others. On Fri, 16 Nov 20

Hi guys, I am only new to Redhat so i apologise for the stupidity of the question, but please, bare with me. I am installing a PCI DSL Card into a system running RedHat 7.2, the makers of the card have given me drivers for linux (redhat) which is a "gsi.tar" file. I copy this file to the system
