i'm having problems using the install-datebook that came with Red Hat
6.2. i've managed to get the correct format but when i run the command
the new date doesn't show up on the pilot.

if i run the command:

install-datebook /dev/pilot date

and the file 'date' contains the following:

2000/06/12 0900 2000/06/12 1000 5m This Date

i get the message:

desc: This Date

but nothing shows up on the Pilot.

has anyone else come across this problem? if so what's the remedy?

thank you so much.
