How does one rebuild a raid array? I lost a disk in a power event last
week, and finally secured a replacement drive (knew I should have bought
an extra).
Do I just power down, swap it out, and reboot, or is there some magic
raidtool command that needs to be invoked?

Did /sbin/raidhotadd include creating partitions on the new hard drive?

you need to create
