follows this message part of samba configuration file
(samba-2.2.5-10) before the file share definitions.
Samba server can be accessed from win2K and winXP but
not from win98 although in the same workgroup. The
error returned on windoze is:

Yes the win98 is in the same workgroup defined in
smb.conf.
Although i've always been able to connect from another
workgroup on prior version of samba (on RH7.1)
