I'm not sure if this will help, but I recently had to install python 1.5.2 and tcl/tk 8.0. I had to use gcc296 to get them to compile. The newer gccs are pickier about what is and isn't allowed. It may not be your problem, but that's certainly an easy one to try. Just do a make clean, then alia
