SORRY FOR THE PREVIOUS BOGUS SUBJECT...SILLY ME!

Hi, I've been having this weird font problem since RH7.1 or so. I'm currently running
RH7.3. Basically what happens, is that sometimes when I boot into X windows, the kdm
font (as well as all the fonts in KDE) is smaller than normal. When I reboot, it
comes back to 'normal' (a bit larger). This happens without changing any
configuration files

I have the following rpms installed:

ttfonts-1.0-9
XFree86-ISO8859-15-100dpi-fonts-4.2.0-8
tetex-fonts-1.0.7-47
XFree86-ISO8859-2-100dpi-fonts-4.2.0-8
XFree86-100dpi-fonts-4.2.0-8
XFree86-ISO8859-9-100dpi-fonts-4.2.0-8
XFree86-base-fonts-4.2.0-8
XFree86-ISO8859-15-75dpi-fonts-4.2.0-8
XFree86-75dpi-fonts-4.2.0-8
chkfontpath-1.9.5-2
XFree86-font-utils-4.2.0-8
XFree86-ISO8859-9-75dpi-fonts-4.2.0-8
XFree86-ISO8859-2-75dpi-fonts-4.2.0-8
urw-fonts-2.0-17
ttfonts-ja-1.2-8
ghostscript-fonts-5.50-3

My xfs config file is as follows:

#
# Default font server configuration file for Red Hat Linux
#

# allow a max of 10 clients to connect to this font server
client-limit = 10

# when a font server reaches its limit, start up a new one

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now, it we had this sort of thing:
yield -a for yield to all traffic
yield -t for yield to trucks
yield -f for yield to people walking (yield foot)
yield -d t* for yield on days starting with t
...you'd have a lot of dead people at intersections, and traffic jams you
wouldn't believe...
(Discussion in comp.os.linux.misc on the intuitiveness of commands.)
