Hi
I am making great strides in getting all my computers
safely connected to the internet. Thanks Tom for
your script, my first attempt wouldn't allow for
http still haven't figured out what I did.
I know have dial on demand with ppp and it even
starts the firewall correctly. I also have one
windows machine set up so it can surf through the
linux box. However the other windows machine
refuses to connect through the linux box. I set up
DNS and gateway put the requests never reach
pppd to dial out. the connections are all okay
because I use the linux box as a printer for all
3 machines. I can use samba and kermit between
the win and linux machine as well.
Any suggestions. My husband really likes the internet
and maybe he'll cook Saturday if I get this setup right.
