That patch is a great improvement. It would be even better if it
eliminated the word graphical, since that goes without saying.

simple patch attached that greatly simplifies the package description
based upon what pidgin's website says.

If I read the patch to upstream right, this part is still left in on the
first line: graphical multi-protocol instant messaging client for X,
which is still a geeky and hard to understand description, especially
since I think some tools will use just this line (don't know about
software center).
