The length of the run isn't mentioned, and any meaningful option should include that as a factor. If it's a couple hundred feet, I would agree 7/8" Heliax (or larger) would be my choice. If it's 10 feet, I wouldn't use anything more than 1/2" Heliax. Joe M. russ wrote: > > I would use 7/8's har

Miguel, If you have a good antenna that is properly matched, and a duplexer that is properly tuned, your primary concern is to minimize the attenuation in the feedline between the duplexer and the antenna. A good rule of thumb is to select your feedline so that the loss at the higher of the two

I would use 7/8's hard line type coax. You can use 1/2" as well. I would not use Times microwave LMR-400 or Belden 9913 type of coax. You can find a list of suppliers on the Repeater-Builders web page to price or buy the above hard-line type of repeater feed line from. Good Luck and 73, Russ, W3C
