Run COR into a 555 pin 2. Invert pin 3 of 555 with 2n. Run collector of for xmit PTT. Need 3 resistors, 2 caps, 1 diode, 1 555, 1 2N. Look at any 555 timer circuit. Put diode from pin 7 pointing to pin 2. (Actually, use COR not.) Of course this doesn't address the time-

Does the amp have separate driver and final boards? if so you can take the final board right out and just run the driver it should be good for 15-20 watts on that size heat sink. If it is the amp I am thinking of the driver board is the same board used in MVP and Exec II's there are others out the

My guess is that its overheating and protecting itself.Are you using cooling fans? You may have a mismatch to the external PA. It is unwise to run any GE PA at less than 50% power,the controlled stage is a driver,not the final. There was a thread on here a while back about impedance changes an

When I lost my Mastr-II continuous duty PA going into winter, I swapped the board for a 110W mobile from an Executive-II with the TO-220 power regulation transistor, I just gobbed on some heat sink grease and bent the transistor slightly so I could use one of the original TO-3s mounting holes. A
