Bob, One thing I will tell you is that while I was replacing all the PA's on my 850's I left the final transistor spring "not soldered", it did not make rated power. After I soldered the spring/shield or whatever it is (they call it a spring) it went up to 40 watts so it's telling me it's actual

there is a power supply that Motorola made for the Micor that will charge the battery (12V) and them run the repeater when needed. The last I knew a new one from Motorola was about $400. as I got one for a job and still in stock. Also they may be got at a ham fest as I got a Micor (working)

I'd go with a Harris, They are already full duplex and come with duplexers. Change the freqs hook it up to a controller and an antenna and your on the air. Mine(450a) is rated rated at 20 watts continous, you could always set the power down. Mike N8RQU --- va
