Exactly my thoughts , I would rather use a 30 watt rpt which is clean and sensitive than a deaf 250 watt widebander.. around these parts our rpt average less than 50 watts and can be heard well considerable distances (with lower power which in of it's self is a result of remote locations) T

Hello Group! Ive been working with a T-835-20 and attempting to re freq it down in the 143 band. Im unable to get V-Lock in that area. Does anyone have any experience in retuning this model. I did solder the jumpers in that the manual spoke of to lower the band. But that has not has not helped.

We have a GE Master III and we are trying to program it for 416 mhz and it comes back and says that it is out of band it will only allow it to go as low as 425 mhz. The station is already at 411 mhz. Any ideas as to why this is happening. Or how we can over come this issue. Thanks, Bob
