The newer L5PNF and L5PNF-RC (preferred) should also work for you, and are easier to install. If you can't find a Z-splice, you may want to round up a pair of 7/16 DIN connectors (ie L5PDF-RC and L5PDM-RC). They are pretty much mechanically just as strong as a Z-splice, but its much easier to

Bill, Can you please elaborate on the shield housing used? I have similar noise on my VHF ham repeater caused by the same Flashguard 3000 system. I was able to reduce the noise during night operation by reorientation of the antenna at the expense of a less than optimum radiation pattern.

Guys we have a Radius GM300 repeater. It has a good location.And hardly mounted there. Now it takes some noise.And sometimes self tx by hours.We know we have to set the squelch by programming.But I wanna know is there any short way to increase the squelch manually ?
