I didn't even bother going to Dayton this year. To busy with other things in
real life. To bad, Blake, you and I could have talked about the old days and
old wars!

What does everyone who is here think?
This is my first year with a booth, but the
longtimers are telling me that attendence is down again,
and purchases are slow.
I know we still have all our MastrII stuff sitting here,
as well as most of the MSF stuff. Not even getting
offers.

Hi all,
Thanks for the group it has helped me out a bunch.
My system here is a Kenwood TRK K2 and Telwave TPRD-1556 6 can set.
Feed line is Heliax LDF4-50A about 70 feet and the antenna is a Diamond F22
that has been worked over and sealed up better.
The system is new and today I added a Telwave
Oh come on. Having played with Motorola stuff for so long, you should know the
answer to this question without even thinking about asking it.
Of course you can't program the LCS2000 radios with anything you currently
have. But once you have the right software you may have to hex-edit it if the
OK, I picked up a couple of these at Dayton. (Yes, the price was good!!)
Can I program them with the "standard" RSS, or will I need a hacked version
to allow freq entry?

You don't need to adjust anything on the receive radio. However, on the
transmit radio, the CDR700 service manual suggests setting the "Accessory
Mic Gain" to 31.5 or 33.0 dB. Further adjustment will be made in the
controller. All of the setup details are in the CDR700 service manual

I have mine set around 24 or so and I have good results from this system.

Ohio sees lightning rates at about 2-8 strikes per square kilometer per year,
so the odds that over a 7 year period one will be near you is pretty high.

Good morning group.
Ah. Spring is here and with it, a blown output transistor on a Henry C130 AD
30R linear amplifier. It just blew around 8PM Wednesday evening. I thought
it must be lightening strike, due to scorched area around the part and
board. It almost looks like it tried to burn a hole r
Hello Group,
I am on the look out for the plastic dial for the attenuator pad.
Wouldn't you know it, but the part that broke off was right in the portion of
the "MicroVolt"!! Any condition would be acceptablejust so I can read it!

I've got a unit that was probably dropped. I had to replace every exposed part
on the rear panel. I've got a PDF copy of a manual that's close but it's
woefully lacking in many areas, like how to get things apart and work on them.
Anyway, the sig gen operates fine but doesn't output anything in
Hello Group,
