This one would work: http://www.sinclairtechnologies.com/catalog/product.aspx?id=72 You'll pretty much need one with a total of six sections to get enough isolation. Exception - TX/RX systems makes one with four sections that works great. Chuck WB2EDV - Original Message - From:

Hi Dick,  I have a bunch of these on the air and noted same problem when I used my ICOM U 16 a while back. Check that the *123456* turns on the display. Then do the *123456# and watch closely that each key press shows up on the display. You might have one tone that is not decoded correctly.

I know you all will laugh at this one, but they say necessity is the mother of invention. A while back a friend had the chance to try a tower site and wanted a simple and quick way we could check coverage.  So with 2, ¼ wave NMO whole mount antennas and 2 18” satellite dish pans. I mounted

[Repeater-Builder] ARR UHF GaAsFET - free, not working

I pulled out an ARR P432VDG GaAsFET preamp today, it's no longer working. Anyone want it? I've standardized on Angle Linear; this ARR is one of the few I still have in service and I have no interest in getting it repaired.. If you want it, call ARR and get an RMA number for the repair on Monday

I assume you want the preamp (and not the Micor stuff). Let me know if you want to call ARR and get an RMA so I can ship it to them directly - email me the RMA# once you get it. Also send me your shipping address so I can put a note in the box to ARR to tell them to return it to you. 73.

At 30 watts on a 5 MHz split in GMRS, you're looking at a minimum of 70 dB of required isolation between the .30 uV receiver and transmitter. This can be accomplished rather easily with a 6 pack mobile duplexer (assuming you can get the full 75 dB of isolation out of a properly tuned high end flat

Years ago, we did a tower site range test with a guy that climbed up with his HT. I drove around and talked to him on simplex to prove out the site and potential of UHF. At the time (years ago) everyone kept saying UHF will never work around here. Boy were they wrong. Chuck WB2EDV -
