Howdy Folks,
I am wondering if anyone has experience with the Astron RM-35M and it's
built-in charging circuit? Has anyone used it to charge 12VDC AGM batteries?
I have 3 motorola Maxtracs (2 RX, 1 TX) that are powered from this power
supply and I need to put some backup power on the system.

'twas me that did the RC-85 and RC-96 firmware hacks. Email me direct.

I have an ACC RC-85 V5.1 controller on my UHF machine. I was wondering if
anyone has ever programmed the chip in it for different courtesy tones,
etc.I know this was done back in the 2000 or so area by a few guys in the
Philly area, but can anyone tell me how it was done or who did it?

Hi Mike,
It took me a while to find the info - hopefully it is still relevant to
what you need.
We ordered a new phasing harness for a DB-224, and it took a
while to get, as they evidently only do a build of them when they
are building antennas.
Here's the numbers that were on the box.
Part # 1
I Just recently purchased for a project that is no longer in the works. This is
a like new REP200 synthesized UHF repeater built by Hamtronics. Purchased new
in 2004. 8-10 watt power amp and optional encode/decode boards and
n-connectors. Currently on 441.950/446.950 and can easily be changed to

The Mitrek is already equipped with pots to adjust the drive level and power
output. What model number Mitrek do you have, and what power level do you
want to achieve? Some models can be significantly reduced in power output
by removing the final PA transistor and installing a jumper in
The highband Mitreks I have used had 2 pots in the driver area. 1 for drive
level the other for output power. I have been able to adjust them to just
about any power though it is said they may not operate properly below 50%. The
pots are small plastic one blue and the other orange if I rememb
There are tons of Mitrek mods out there but I haven't found the adjustable
output power mod. Therefore: Is it easily possible to make the output power
adjustable using a pot or trimmer? The desired model is a lowband Mitrek for a
6m repeater conversion.

I have a box of the correct parts in Motorola packages I'll sell for $8
each including postage to the US.

I replied direct to you. If something happens to the current buyer please let
me know and a check or money order will be on its way to you.
Every once in a while a 220 dipole array becomes available. Anybody else
happen to have one to get rid of?
