Hi,
I have a service monitor that measures the FM deviation, and a Micor
repeater on 145.45. What should I set the deviation at?
Tnx,

Ken,
Shouldn't the touch tone pad tone be set at the maximum deviation or
nearly so? Those are steady and not subject to peaks. Also I take
it the max deviation should be set with a 1Khz audio tone applied

TT should be between 3 and 4 kHz deviation.

One source of Canadian surplus Micor equipment is at
www.bro-comm.com. Although
they specialize in complete repeater and base stations, they have an extensive
stock of components.

that process again. Since 100 watt Canadian PAs are readily available on the
surplus market, already made for the 138-150.8 MHz split, it's hard to justify
spending the time, money, and effort to perform a conversion.

A repeater om 144.45 MHz would need either a TLD1682B or a
TLD1692D Power Amplifier deck = frequency range 132 - 150.8 MHz

Meil,
I think it's 134 to 156. The repeater transmit frequency is 144.45 MHz.
