Worked for an Motorola Mss at the time. Early 60's. Put on Simplex
146,940. An Taxi cab had them. Paid $10.00. Had to pad the Rx front end
Coils with an 5pf Cap. I too worked on Dynamotor units. Back is ok. Bring
back some good memories.

Have An UHF repeater using PL259 Connectors on the Motorola T1501AL
Cavitys, which has UHF connectors on them. There is no Desensing at all.
Was thinking of replacing with N type connectors, but on second thought
after reading your Comments. Think will not do.
Yes Bob. They are the only ones I use on all my Equipment(Silver Plated)
On T I try to get Amphenal. They are getting very scarce.Haven't seen
an Silver Plated T connector however.

Just Curious to how much you paid for it.I Bought one this year at Ft
Wayne Hamfest.$50.00. it also has all the goodies. Woukd be good to have
a manual on it. Have built Peaking Generators in the past, when I didn't
have the Wavetec Station monitor.Using an 3rd overtone Xtal ckt to
control the RF

Bought mine for the Cable with Motrac Adapter as Years ago I bought an
New Motorola panel for $10..00 without the cables. Did not have the Micor
adapter Cable with it,but all I have is old Motracs Motran equipment.

Reminds Me. I could ue a small Alignment tool fot adjusting The VCO Coil
L104 on a GE Phoenix. Make this a Golden Request. Its avery Small Square
tool.

Went to Fort Wayne Hamfest today picked up an Relatively new Motorola
test set Model S1059A, with the cable plus Motrac extension for $60.00,
which is what I need. Hope to get the Micor extension cable in the
future.
