Nope. It can only write to the controller.

I have a similar problem. My remote base (Kenwood TM-V7A) has a slight hum
on the remote base transmit side (mic jack). I still have not solved the
problem. The controller is an SCOM 7k.

I believe that a file with the hidden
words is on the SCOM-Controllers yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SCOM-Controllers.

Bob, glad to hear about it. The 7k is definitely
one of the BEST repeater controllers that money can buy!!

Robert, The RC-210 is a three port controller. You could plug port 1 of
the RC-100 into port 2 or 3 on the RC-210 and make the RC-210 forward
DTMF's to it. If you get one, let me know. I would be interested in the
outcome. Contact me off list.

I have been thinking about using a utility pole about 100 ft
tall for my “tower” for my repeater. Is there anything else that I
could use other than paying $1000+ for a tower?

I have been considering that for a while. I REALLY don't want to change
controllers because I like my 7k and the way the synthesized speech
sounds. If push comes to shove, I will do that. I also may use an RC-110
as an interface controller.

Is this public? I need to make it fully frequency agile, PL agile, etc. Ken,
can you email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED]?

What to you mean by analog data? I am talking about the serial line on
most controllers for the Doug Hall RBI-1.

Chris,
To the
best of my knowledge about the Link Net, the repeater itself goes key down. Not the remote Base. To me, how it can be
interfaced though is a problem because of my limited knowledge about Motorola
radios.
