It occurs whether or not the repeater transmitter is keyed.

DOSBox (www.dosbox.com) is an x86 emulator with DOS. It works great for
programming those radios that need old, slow PCs for the software. I use it on
my MacBook dual booting into Windows 7 and using an IO Gear USB serial dongle
on COM1. So far I've programmed a couple of Radius M1225's and a VX
I found what looks like unfinished release notes on the Wiki here:

I guess you don't care to elaborate.

I emailed Spantek. They told me they don't do Micor's any more. CW Wofle
appears to not be in business as I can't find them on the web. Any other ideas
where I might find some UHF low split Micor parts?

Those CDM radios are a bit pricy at $550 each. But I appreciate the suggestion.
And you've given me some ideas.
I still like the idea of building an out of band repeater for the remote
receive site from a Micor chassis. I would need a 406-420 exciter, bandpass
filter and trippler. If anybody o
Thanks Jeff, I'll keep looking around for those low split UHF Micor receivers.
What about the transmit side?
Maybe I should look for a unified chassis low split UHF repeater. Swap out the
UHF receiver for a VHF high band receiver and use that for my remote receiver
site. Then use the low split
Jeff,
When you say low split, are you talking about the Motorola TRE1201/TRE8031
406-420 Mhz receivers? What Canadian sources might have these?

I'm going to start working on building a link for a remote receiver. I already
have a voter and I'll be using a VHF Micor receiver strip for the remote.
A couple of mobiles that tune down to 420 might be good as I don't have a lot
room. I'm thinking the link transmitter will be keyed 7x24 with
I have the following Micor receivers. TLD4071B, TLD5781AV, and TLD8271B3.
Unfortunately none are in range 2. Which, if any of these would be the best for
a receiver on 144.5

That seems unlikely I don't hear it in the local speaker. There is no
detectable desense or other noise on the RX signal.

Anyone ever run into this before?

I picked up a used Telewave antenna ANT150F6-2. It has a minor case of the
fiberglass fuzzies and most of the blue paint is gone as it has been in the
elements for 15 years. Should I paint it, apply a cote of resin, or just leave
it alone?

I'm in need of a couple of doors for a 45 inch tall Motorola cabinet. The doors
measure approximately 44 x 20.5 inches. If you have a couple with the vents in
tact please contact me.
