my advice for what its worth is to use commerical grade antennas such as DB224 (VHF) AND DB 420 (UHF) or the Sinclair equalent. No other part of a repeater system can affect both the rx and tx as much as a GOOD/BAD antenna. As to the power levels, remember that the mobiles must be heard by the
