I would shoot for the 3200. It properly encodes and decodes reverse 
burst, where the TP-154 doesn't do any form of squelch tail elimination. 
In fact, on the ones I setup, it took so long for the decoder to close 
(we're talking well over a full second here) that even "chicken burst" 
didn't work, resulting in squelch crashes on everyone. It also has 
better repeat audio, and a better PC interface. And it's half the size.
