The tone generator is the 4 digit thunmbwheel in the lower left
of the front panel,format is XXX.X ,the pot sets the level. Make
surethe int/ext mod is in internal and dial away! I sure do miss
my IFR,had to sell due to hard times...73,Lee

The 1000 series only has one tone generator, you must use it for PL OR test tone. If you want both you must use an external tone generator for the second tone.
