I have a MAxar 80 mobile MD34tsa1800A sitting on the shelf here.
Its a 25 watter according to the side plate.
I'd like to make use of the PA section on our Hamtronics unit to
experiment, to see if extra RF out will cause any desense. It looks
pretty beefy on the heatsink for a trial

Hi Jerry
We use Maxar 80's for a link from our repeater head end to our IRLP
computer, and also I use this link for remote programming of our
controller. Works great for us.

Hi all,
I'm buying a Maxar 80 low-band radio, 42-50 Mhz split, D51TSA2300AK,
but I need to figure out what frequency to get the new crsytal cut
for. I am wanting the radio to transmit on 50.063 mhz. The recieve
crystal is not necessary since it will be used as a 6-meter beacon
transmitter only.
Jeff, Just give http://www.icmfg.com/ A Call or E-Mail They are
Expensive But have been doing this for a Long time great help and Quality
products , I always say if itÂ’s on a Repeater or Radio with My Call on it I
want Int Crystals .

Pull the vol and squelch knobs off -- flip the radio up - side - down.
At the rear -- the heat sink has a flat space insert flat blade screw
driver
and lift plastic off of tabs which are to the right and left of heat sink slot.
After you know how it works - you can lift with your fingers

Hi Nate,
You have what was called the 2 Watt LPI (low power-industrial) version
of the UHF Maxar 80. The model number would indicate that it is a 2-
freq radio with tone PL.
The cover can be removed by disconnecting the mic connector on the
side of the radio and removing the knobs (they pull

Would anyone happen to have a spare power plug for the Maxar 80 VHF
