I'm converting a lowband Mitrek for 6m repeater use. Most of the mods have been done according to
http://www.repeater-builder.com/mitrek/mitrek-interfacing.html The problem is that at the emitter of Q406 I can't get a valid signal when I feed the receiver with a 5kHz modulated signal. Only when I modulate it to 6 or more kHz I get about 3V/0.11V. For the squelch I put a 25k trimmer with one end to ground, with the other end via a 3k3 resistor to pin 11 of the control connector and the wiper is connected to pin 14 of the control connector. The radio is not equipped with a pl board, the controller I'm trying to interface will do this. In a later step I also need to narrowband the radio, therefore I'm a bit worried. Does anyone with more Mitrek experience than me know why this could be? 73 Martin
