We have used the mod available at: http://www.trevormarshall.com/biquad.htm with good success. The bi-quad feed works well for us. PrimeStar dishes are usually available for the taking, you just have to look. Some catv headends used them too, so ask the local cable tech. Kevin Custer - Scott

You would be better off finding some used MMDS antennas on 2.4 GHz instead of messing with the offset Primestar dishes. I have tried the Primestar Wifi modification that can be found on the web with limited success. Never could get a reliable link. However the MMDS dishes worked great over t

Does anyone know where or does anyone have any primestar dishes they would want to part with in and/or around the Indiana county area. I am wanting to make a 2.4 ghz reapeater hop. These are the old oval fiberglass dishes. The finances are low on this project. Thanks for the off topic entry.
