I had this happen to our clubs repeater and I traced it to the MOD
ADJ pot in the exciter. Some contact cleaner and a few wipes on the
pot cured the problem. Also check the pot(s) in the audio card. A
scope will find the problem if you can catch it when the deviation
(audio) is low. 73, John
I will take a look at that. I should have stated, the audio is still
there...but it just gets obviously softer. That is what so weird. It
just doesn't go awayjust sounds like someone is turning the deviation
down ;-)
