didn't expect to find a section on fuse replacement in with 'modules'.
Mouser has them in stock for $0.67 each Littlelfuse part number is

I took a close look at a spare Motorola MTR2000 fuse, part number
6583049X16, and can provide some additional data: The fuse is
rectangular, with a square cross-section, and measures about 6.0mm by
2.6mm. It has a ceramic body, with silver-plated end caps. The
legend "IE5A" is printed on one
I agree with Eric, almost sounds like your 1K (or PL/DPL tone) is on
and affecting the bandpass of the RX. Also check to make sure unit is
not programmed for narrow band operation.
Would also confirm what version of software repeater is running,
could have an old version with known bugs.

Just out of curiosity are you performing these tests with a 1000 cycle
tone and if so, have you tried it with no modulation?
It almost sounds like it is going out of the bandpass of the receiver

Thanks Eric. Can you refer me to anywhere on this site that might
contain all the features of the internal controller? Screen shots or

Eric,
Argus would NOT help us with their battery revert/charger device.
Forget ANY support. I went with much the same setup that you did in
the past. That was 2002, and no problems since.

I suppose it would be a good idea to use the recommended Argus Battery
Reverting Charger, to avoid violating the warranty terms. However, I wonder
just how complicated the Argus unit is, since the only connection to the
radio is through the red/black socket. I have one of the Argus units on
