Being new to repeaters, I've been doing a lot of research and
reading though the LBI's available in repeater-builder.com (thank you
to all who contributed, btw). I have learned LOTS. For my first
VHF learning repeater I plan to use a couple GE Deltas (an SX for
transmit and an S for
I have built two UHF repeaters using GE Delta-s radios, they are both on
Colorado Mtn tops and operating just fine.
I am also using 420 mhz Delta-s radios for link radios for our IRLP system,
all of the radios are using the Ge Delta Call Guard boards, for the
transmitters I removed the PA board
Forgot to add that I did experiment with a 2 meter repeater using the
Delta-s and was not happy with the receiver performance at the 600 khz
spacing so I went back to using Motorola Mitrek's for the two meter stuff.
